Indonesia Exports Aircraft to Thailand

TEMPO.CO, Songkhla, Thailand - Recently, on May 30th, 2023, the Indonesian Consulate in Songkhla welcomed the arrival of one NC212i aircraft produced by PT Dirgantara Indonesia at Hat Yai international airport, Thailand.

The aircraft with a crew of eight flew on a ferry flight with the Bandung-Pekanbaru-Hatyai Husein Sastranegara Airport route and is scheduled to arrive at its final destination Nakhon Sawan Air Base on May 31, 2023.

The next aircraft will be handed over to Thailand's Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation (DRRAA) for the purpose of weather modification witnessed by the Indonesian Ambassador to Thailand.

This aircraft with the code AX-2131 is PT DI's first export in 2023. The Indonesian Consulate stated that they are pleased and proud to see that aircraft produced by Indonesia have been successfully exported to Thailand again.
