TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Java Jazz Festival is set to return in 2023 for three days throughout June 2-4 at the JiExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta. Organizers suggest in their press release on January 31 that the event that will enter its 18th year will continue to present renowned international and local musicians.

“Throughout 17 years, world-class musicians, both Indonesians and international, are witness to the historical milestones of JJF's achievements so far. The enjoyment and safety of everyone attending the festival remain the top priority for the 18th anniversary of the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival," the statement reads.

Musicians featured in the festival have yet to be announced but organizers assured that the list will be announced gradually through its official social media accounts.

The 2022 Java Jazz Festival marked the inaugural physical attendance following virtual performances due to coronavirus restrictions.
