TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - At the end of last week, the Jakarta Health Office's head of disease prevention and control Dwi Oktavia said that there was a policy change for the efficiency of vaccine administration.

"In each sub-district, there are points where vaccine rollouts are concentrated, so they don't scatter," she said in Jakarta, Friday, October 21, as reported by Antara.

At the time, Dwi also said that stock limitation is also happening in several other areas in Indonesia.

The Health Ministry's website as of Friday morning last week showed that there were only 28,958 doses left of the Covid-19 vaccine in Jakarta, which was estimated to last for the next 18 days.

Dwi said the Health Ministry has a program to relocate Covid-19 vaccines from other regions. But so far there is no vaccine supply that can be allocated from other areas. "In all provinces the situation is almost the same, the stock is limited," she said.
