Covid-19 Update: Indonesia Reports 55,209 Cases, 107 Deaths

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Covid-19 task force announced 55,209 people were confirmed to contract Coronavirus on Saturday, February 12, totaling the number to 4,763,252. Meanwhile, the active cases were 22,532, adding the total number of active cases to 335,340 people.

The data was obtained after testing 530,041 specimens and a total Covid suspect of 30,604 people as of 12 p.m today.

As for the people declared to have recovered from the disease were 32,570, totaling the national Covid recoveries to 4,282,847. Meanwhile, the additional number of Covid-19 related cases was 107, adding the death toll to 145,065.

Indonesia continues to intensify Covid-19 vaccination. As many as 141,952 people received their first doses of Covid shots, totaling the number to 188,060,706 people, and 805,244 people have completed their primary vaccination, so the total was 135,209,233 people.

Meanwhile, 262,232 people have received the third dose of Covid shots today, totaling the number to 6,885,645 people.
