TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Toll road providing access to West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati at Majalengka Province is officially open for public on Monday, December 20, 2021.

CEO of Astra Infra Djap Tet Fa, hoped that the access provided by the toll road can help connect the airport with the Cipali toll road and help to improve the economy of local residents.

"The toll road access is one of the manifestation of Astra Infra commitment to continue improve its contribution for the development on infrastructure in Indonesia, even during the Covid-19 pandemic,"Djap said during the toll road inauguration event on Monday, December 20, 2021.

The new toll road access to Kertajati Airport is located at KM 158+700 of the Cipali toll road.

The construction of the toll road took 12 months to complete and has obtained operational permits through the issuance of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Decree No. 1514/KPTS/M/2021 on December 6, 2021.
