TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government Covid-19 spokesperson and new normal ambassador Reisa Broto Asmoro on Monday said two thirds of Indonesia’s population have been inoculated with the minimum first dose of vaccination.

“Two thirds of the entire Indonesian population has been injected with first vaccine doses. The accelerated vaccination program needs cooperation from everyone,” said Reisa in an event on November 29, Antaranews reported.

As of November 27, 2021, she says the Covid-19 vaccine supply in Indonesia amounts to 134,500 vaccines which were mostly supplied by Covavax.

On November 28, the government managed to inject 234.2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines to the Indonesian population. This means there are 138.6 million (66.55 percent) of the Indonesian population receiving first doses while 45.36 percent have received complete doses.

Meanwhile, 1.2 million healthcare workers (83.43 percent) have been inoculated with third vaccine doses or commonly known as booster vaccines.
