TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's daily Covid cases has increased. As of noon, the Covid-19 Task Force reported 723 new infections on Thursday, October 28, based on data from the Health Ministry.

This is an increase from yesterday's 611 cases detected in the last 24 hours.

Today's number of cases was obtained from the results of examining 259,541 specimens.

To date, Indonesia's Covid-19 total caseload has reached 4,242,532 infections since the first case was detected in early March last year.

Meanwhile, today's recoveries increased by 984, bringing the country's total recoveries to 4,086,759 people. The number of deaths increased by 34 today, bringing the total to 143,333.
