TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a weather warning for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in three areas of Jakarta today afternoon and evening, October 21. Through its official website, the agency forecasted light rain in West Jakarta during the day.

At the same time, moderate-intensity rain was expected to shower South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Central and North Jakarta will be partly sunny, while the Thousand Islands or Pulau Seribu will be cloudy in the morning.

In the evening, light rain will hit three areas, namely West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands will see cloudy weather.

The Thousand Islands will only experience light rain in the early hours of Friday, October 22.

The capital city’s average air temperature was predicted to be around 24 degrees Celsius at minimum up to 33 degrees Celsius at maximum. The Thousand Islands’ air temperature will be at 26-31 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, according to today's weather forecast, the air humidity in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands will be around 65-95 percent.
