Jokowi Plants Mangrove, Visits G20 Summit Venues in Bali

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi, accompanied by First Lady Iriana and his entourage, left for Bali this morning, October 8, from TNI's Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta.

The first stop once they arrived at Bali International Airport of I Gusti Ngurah Rai in Badung Regency, was Ngurah Rai Forest Park. There, the president was shceduled to monitor the mangrove planting.

"Next, the president is set to give directions to Regional Leaders Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Bali Province held at Wisma Sabha Utama building in Bali Governor office complex," said Presidential Secretary statement on Friday, October 8.

To conclude the working visit in Bali, Jokowi would review the locations set to be used as G20 Summit venues. Indonesia will host the international event next year.

In the visit, the President and the First Lady were accompanied by State Secretary Minister Pratikno, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Presidential Secretariat chief Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Vice Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, President Security Force commander Gen. Major Tri Budi Utomo, Presidential Special Staffers coordinator Ari Dwipayana, and deputy of protocols, press, and media of presidential secretariat Bey Machmudin.
