TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian authorities reported the latest update on the country's Covid-19 data on Tuesday, September 14. The Covid-19 Task Force said that there were 4,138 new infections over the past 24 hours.

According to data from the Health Ministry, as of noon today the number new daily cases came from testing 278,680 specimens.

To date, Indonesia has logged a total of 4,174,216 cases of the new coronavirus.

Indonesia also recorded 11,246 new recoveries to bring the number of Covid survivors up to 3,942,473.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 increased by 250. Since the first case was first detected in Indonesia early March last year, the country has recorded 139,415 deaths from the new coronavirus.
