TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Health, in a recent report on Monday, claims that 41,734,734 of the Indonesian population have been given complete dose of Covid-19 vaccine up to Sunday, September 12.

First-dose vaccine shot recipients have also increased by 517,475 and added the total tally to 72,766,195 people, Antaranews reported.

The number of healthcare workers receiving vaccine boosters has also grown by 778,830 people with a total of 3,105. The government set a goal earlier in the year to vaccinate 208,720 people in hopes of successfully building herd immunity against the coronavirus.

According to daily cases updates, September 12 recorded 3,779 additional cases with 9,401 recoveries, and 188 deaths.

Active Covid-19 cases have also dropped by 5,810 cases to a total of 109,869 active cases from 198,052 specimens tested, making the positivity rate at 3.05 percent.
