TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo accompanied by First Lady Iriana left for South Sulawesi for a working visit today, September 9. The Head of State and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, boarding the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 at around 06:30 a.m.

Arriving at the Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base, Maros Regency, the President continued the journey to Wajo Regency by boarding the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma Helicopter.

“In Wajo Regency, precisely at State Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 3 Wajo, the President is scheduled to monitor Covid-19 vaccination for students and greet participants via video conference,” as stated by Presidential Secretariat’s Protocol, Press, Media, and Information Sector (BPMI) on Thursday, September 9.

The President would also monitor the Covid-19 vaccination at the Wewangrewu Health Center, Wajo Regency.

After that, he would monitor and inaugurate the Gilireng Dam and Paselloreng Dam in Wajo Regency. The inauguration of the two would be held at the Paselloreng Dam, Arajang Village, Gilireng District.

For the last agenda of the working visit in South Sulawesi, the President would hold a meeting with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) throughout South Sulawesi at the Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base Hangar.

Accompanying President Jokowi and First Lady on the flight to South Sulawesi Province were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Young Marshall M. Tonny Harjono, and Presidential Security Detail Commander Maj. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo.
