Indonesia Covid-19 Case Tops World Record

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia on Friday, July 16, recorded the highest daily Covid-19 cases with the total of 54,000 people. That put Indonesia as the world's number one country with the largest daily case based on https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/.

Over 100 countries in the world reported their Covid-19 cases on the site. Below Indonesia, there was England with new confirmed cases of 51,870 people; followed by Brazil and then the U.S.

Indonesia was also ranked second in daily Covid death after Brazil. On Friday, the national Covid-19 Task Force recorded 1,205 new deaths related to Coronavirus.

Based on the recovery rate, Indonesia was on the third list after India and Brazil. On Friday, Indonesia recorded that 28,079 people have recovered from the Coronavirus disease.
