TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - East Java regency of Trenggalek holds a Covid-19 vaccination in three traditional markets from Thursday June 24 to 28. On the first day, thousands of local residents have registered for the vaccination.

The regional administration offered 35 goats and 80 chickens as door prizes to attract more people into the government’s herd immunity goal, Antaranews reports.

Trenggalek Regent Mochamad Nur Arifin, who directly led and oversaw the event on June 24 said “In this event, the Police Chief gave us 10,000 vaccine doses for the three-day drive-through vaccination.”

Residents who have received the shots are allowed to participate in the lottery with prizes comprising live goats and chickens.
