TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Wisma Atlet Covid-19 Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, North Jakarta, is still treating 1,424 patients diagnosed with the coronavirus disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus as of today, April 28. Of the total patients hospitalized, 690 are males and 734 are females.
The number of patients dropped by 22 from the earlier data of 1,446 patients. “All hospitalized patients are treated in Tower 4, 5, 6, and 7,” said the hospital’s spokesperson, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, in a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Wednesday.
He explained that from the opening of the facility on March 23, 2020, until Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the hospital has offered treatment to 81,244 patients. It has also discharged 79,820 patients.
Of the total figure of patients discharged, 78,924 patients with Covid-19 were declared cured. “809 patients were referred to other hospitals while 87 patients died,” Aris said.
