TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The online travel agency Tiket.com offers up to 40 percent discount on hotel tickets. The ticket deals aim at supporting and providing an alternative for people to work from hotel amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Work from hotel is a practical solution for professional workers who cannot leave their job responsibilities while at the same time need to fight off fatigue,” said the agency’s Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer Gaery Undarsa in a statement on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

The promotion lasts for seven days starting March 18, 2021, and is valid for hotel room bookings throughout the archipelago. With cheaper hotel vouchers, workers are expected to take a break from their work routine at home and enjoy a different atmosphere.

Gaery mentioned that based on the latest research, 41 percent of workers who undergo remote work experienced great stress. As a result, work productivity decreased by 14 percent.

Besides, the work from hotel will help businesses to revive from the pandemic crisis so that the economic wheel will resume running. To ensure the safety of visitors, Tiket.com provides a tiketCLEAN feature from which people can choose hotels that meet hygiene standards and health protocols.

“The information of hotels labeled with the tiketClean feature will ease consumers to make a decision in finding the best accommodation,” said Gaery.
