TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT MRT Jakarta, which operates the capital city’s MRT operations, has adapted the headway time between each car to fit the Covid-19 social restriction policy known as Micro PPKM that will last until March 8. The current headway is set at 10-minutes apart.

“Every operational hour adjustment is MRT Jakarta’s support for the government’s attempt to mitigate the spread of Covid-19,” said Effendi in a written statement on March 1, 2021.
The 10-minute headway applies under rush hours and outside of that every day and has been officially adopted today.
The MRT Jakarta services are operable from 05:00-22:00 WIB on work days and 06:00-21:00 on the weekends with total capacity reduced to 62-67 people on each carriage or 390 for every train set.
