COVID-19: 16,000 Health Workers in Central Jakarta Inoculated

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Some 16,000 health workers in Central Jakarta have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines in the first round of vaccinations that lasted for three weeks, said Central Jakarta Health Agency Head Erizon Safari.
“Presently some 50 percent of health workers have received COVID-19 vaccines in Central Jakarta,” he said on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Erizon said the inoculation for health workers was targeted to complete in late February, followed by the vaccination for personnel of the Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri).
He added some 8,000 of all health workers who took part in the program had received their second dose fourteen days after the first one.
The first round of COVID-19 vaccinations in Central Jakarta took place at around 100 health facilities in eight districts. Around 60-80 people were vaccinated daily during the period.
Erizon said he had yet to receive any complaints from the health workers after the vaccinations.
