TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Health Ministry launched a mobile application of Covid-19 referral hospital information system dubbed SIRANAP RS allowing people to check the availability of isolation beds and ICU (Intensive Care Unit) beds in Covid-19 hospitals throughout the country.
“This is a product of the Health Ministry. We develop it,” said the Secretary of the ministry's Health Services Directorate General, Azhar Jaya, here on Monday, Jan. 25.
According to Azhar, the application contained data of all hospitals, starting from state-owned and private-owned hospitals to those owned by the Indonesian Military (TNI), the National Police (Polri), and state enterprises or SOE.
Tempo tried to download this application. There are several steps to be done along with the procedures.
The platform provides all information regarding the availability of beds, such as ICU beds that are capable of negative-pressure with ventilator, ICU beds without ventilator, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
The mobile app also offers information about the time and date the data is last updated in each bed selection. “People can check it and it (the information) depends on the active participation of hospitals,” Azhar added.
The SIRANAP RS app is available and can be downloaded for free via the Play Store for Android smartphones. It was reported that the platform 1.2 version was last updated on January 21, 2021.
