TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As of November 30, the total value of restructured loans related to the Covid-19 program had Rp951.2 trillion. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) said that the financial services sector's stability is maintained.
Non-SME debtors restructured the biggest loans with Rp569.2 trillion for 1.73 debtors, Bisnis.com reported on Monday, December 28.
Meanwhile, 5.80 million SME debtors restructured Rp382 trillion, while financing companies' loan restructure totaled at Rp188.3 trillion from 4.94 million contracts.
Indonesia has extended the credit restructuring period until March 2022, applies to conventional commercial banks, Islamic commercial banks, sharia business units, people's credit banks, and Islamic rural banks.
Debtors are eligible to have their debts restructured if they experience difficulties in paying, as the direct or indirect impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
