TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Music Matters from Wonderful Indonesia concert will take place in three super-priority tourist destinations, namely Lake Toba in North Sumatra, Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara, and Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Central Java.

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy was set to hold the event in collaboration with Branded Entertainment and PK Entertainment under the health protocols.

“This event promotes Indonesian tourism and musical talents that will have international collaboration,” said the ministry’s Deputy for Tourism Products and Activities, Rizki Handayani, through a virtual press conference, Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

The music concert aims at presenting a new art event and pushing creativity in the music industry and tourism, she added.

The show will be held for three days from December 4-6, 2020. The first stage is slated for Friday, December 4, in Lake Toba. It will feature Andmesh, Hondo, Kurt Hugo Schneider, and Jules Aurora.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, it will take place in Labuan Bajo, presenting Weird Genius, Danilla Riyadi, Kurt Hugo Schneider, and Ni/Co, while the last performance on Sunday, Dec. 6, is joined by Isyana Sarasvati, PADI Reborn, Kurt Hugo Schneider, and Sam Tsui in Borobudur.

Rizki hoped the music event could boost other art performances in the new normal era and show the creativity and innovation of the players in the industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

PK Entertainment Director, Harry Sudarma, said that the public can tune in the Music Matters from Wonderful Indonesia concert through the Music Matters social media platform at 19:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
