Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital Treating 3,365 Patients

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Up until Tuesday, November 23, the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital in Central Jakarta recorded 3,365 patients with COVID-19 treated at the hospital’s tower 6 and tower 7 along with self-isolation flats in tower 4 and tower 5.

In a written statement, colonel marine Aris Mudian, as the hospital’s spokesperson, said towers 6 and 7 are treating 2,075 men and women which is a 12 patients increase compared to the day prior that recorded 2,063 patients.

As for self-isolation patients in towers 4 and 5 are housing 1,290 people that consists of 691 female and 599 male patients.

In total, the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 emergency hospital has treated 26,836 people since March 23, 2020. He explains that 24,761 were discharged for various reasons including 24,284 of them discharged due to recovery. So far, eight patients admitted to the hospital had died due to coronavirus.
