Indonesia Condemns Terror Attack in Nice, France

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Indonesia officially condemns the terror attack that happened in Nice, France, which unfortunately killed three people and injured many more.
In a letter released by the Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry on Friday, October 30, states that “Indonesia conveys its deepest sympathy and grief for the victims and victims’ families.”
Following the incident, the Indonesian Embassy in Paris and the Indonesian Consulate General’s Office in Marseille continue to assure the safety of Indonesians, including the Indonesian Students Association Alliance (PPI), by closely coordinating with local authorities.
There are currently 4,023 Indonesians residing in France with 25 of them staying in Nice and its vicinity. The French government has increased its security to its highest status following the terror act that caused one death of a Nice resident on Thursday, October 29.
