TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia continues to record thousands of new Covid-19 cases every day. On the last day of September, the national Covid-19 Task Force reported 4,284 more new confirmed cases.
Indonesia's total number of Covid-19 infections now reaches 287,008 cases since the first infection was reported on March 2.
According to the government's data, the number of people who recovered as per September 30 reached 4,510, bringing the nation's recovery total to 214,947.
The authorities also reported 139 more deaths. In total, Indonesia has recorded 10,740 deaths related to the new coronavirus.
As per today, the government is also still monitoring 132,693 suspect cases.
