Chef Chris Salans Receives Award from The Government of France

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - On Monday 7 September 2020, French Ambassador to Indonesia Olivier Chambard, confers the service mark 'Chevalier dans' Ordre du Mérite Agricole' from the Government of France to a Chef named Chris Salans, owner of the MOZAIC restaurant in Ubud, Bali.
The event was also attended by Chef Gilles Marx, founder of the Amuz restaurant in Jakarta.
Chris Salans is a Chef who has studied formal culinary in France, and add to his experience by working with a number of well-known Chefs, both in France and in America, before settling in Indonesia, especially in Bali, 20 years ago.
Chris Salans manages the MOZAIC restaurant in the Ubud area and offers “gastronomic” blends of French culinary techniques with Indonesian ingredients and spices.
The award given by the French Ambassador to Chris Salans was an award called Chevalier dans l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole (Knight in the Order of Agricultural Services) for respect to his services concerned in promoting agriculture and French cuisine through extraordinary career and skills as a Chef.
