Indonesia Records 3,307 Covid-19 Cases in Single Day

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia continues to see thousands of new Covid-19 cases per day. On September 9, 2020, the National Covid-19 Task Force reported 3,307 new confirmed cases.

Today's new confirmed cases exceeded the number of recoveries by more than 1,000.

The total number of recoveries as per today has reached 145,200 people, after adding 2,242 new ones.

With Wednesday's data included, Indonesia now has recorded 203,342 cases of Covid-19 since the virus was first detected in early March.

The Task Force also reported 106 new deaths related to Covid-19, bringing the fatality to 8,336 cases.

The Indonesian government is currently monitoring 92,330 suspects for possible infection.
