TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The North Jakarta District Court temporarily suspended service after it was discovered that several people in the court complex tested positive for Covid-19 . The court is closed for seven days starting Wednesday, 9 September 2020.
All services and trials are closed after one judge and seven employees of the court were confirmed to have contracted the virus.
Several judges and staff took swab tests — done by the North Jakarta Health Office — on Saturday, September 3. The results came back showing that six people tested positive.
Two other staff members discovered they had the virus after taking the tests separately.
"With the situation, the court's leader stated that he will temporarily close the North Jakarta District Court's services," North Jakarta District Court PR, Djuyamto, said in an official statement.
