TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Singer and Youtube personality Erdian Aji Prihartanto, popularly known as Anji, said on Monday, August 10, 2020, that he is willing and ready to work with the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) as a means to make amends with the association and members of the public.

Anji went under the spotlight after his interview with Hadi Pranoto went viral the past week. Hadi Pranoto is a person who claimed to have found the cure for Covid-19.

"Working together in terms of conveying information, as to how a finding can be deemed a medicine through clinical and scientific tests. So, I would define that not as a clarification, but a way to redeem my mistake," said Anji at the Metro Jaya Police headquarters on Monday, August 10, 2020.

Anji was present at the Police headquarter after he was reported for allegedly spreading misleading information during his interview with Hadi Pranoto that was featured in his Youtube channel 'Dunia Manji'. According to reports, Anji was faced with 45 questions by police investigators.

The complaints Anji received came from academics, scientists, the IDI, Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto, social media personalities, and the general public. They generally were concerned about the implications of the claims made by Hadi Pranoto in the interview.
