86 Percent Secapa AD Army Cadets Recover from COVID-19

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Indonesian Army Chief of Staff General Andika Perkasa says there are 86.8 percent of the Army's Officer Candidate School (Secapa AD ) cadets that were previously exposed to COVID-19 have been cleared and deemed negative for the virus.
“16 more patients have been cleared and tested negative based on the lab test result from follow up PCR swab tests at the Army Secapa since Tuesday, August 4, up to Wednesday,” wrote General Andika in an official statement by the Indonesian Army.
Out of the total of 1,308 army cadets who were exposed to the COVID-19, the Army general reports that 1,136 of them have recovered and now only leaves 172 people (13.2 percent) still under quarantine.
The second wave of plasma donors for the plasma convalescence therapy from eight Army Secapa AD graduates will be done later today on Wednesday at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta.
