Lion Air Group Offers COVID-19 Rapid Testing Services

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Lion Air Group, which oversees Wings Air and Batik Air, announced that it now offers rapid test services as of Monday, June 29. The rapid testing will cost an affordable Rp95,000.

“During the early phase, the COVID-19 rapid testing will be available in four locations across Jakarta,” said Lion Air Group Corporate Communications Strategic, Danang Mandala Prihartoro on Monday.

The four locations offering the rapid testings are Lion Air Tower in Gambir, Central Jakarta; Lion Air Group Headquarters in East Jakarta; Lion Parcel Kedoya in West Jakarta; and the Ilon Operation Center in Tangerang.

According to Danang, this will be followed-up in other cities and will later be available in ticket sales offices in airports across Indonesia. “Passengers will gain more value by the presence of rapid testing services. It will be more practical and be more flexible passengers to plan trips,” said Danang.

Before undergoing the rapid testings provide by Lion Air, to-be passengers must first have a flight ticket of a Lion Air Group flight; have purchased a COVID-19 rapid test voucher during the purchasing of a ticket, and ticket owners that have yet booked for testing can book it online through Lion Air Group agents.
