Anies Baswedan Visits Ancol's Dufan before Reopening

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan visited Dunia Fantasi or Dufan, a theme park at Ancol in North Jakarta, on Saturday, June 13, prior to the reopening of the entertainment site.

The former Education Minister was also scheduled to hold a discussion organized by Tempo under the theme “Tourism Vs Corona.”

Ancol CEO Teuku Syahali and a traveler Yovita Ayu will attend the discussion which will be led by Koran Tempo chief of editor Budi Setyarso.

Dufan management has set physical distancing rules at its rides to make sure that visitors would not be close to each other.

According to Teuku Syahali, his office had set health protocols on all of the rides. He said that Ancol would resume the operation on June 20.

“We’ve prepared tight health protocols and limit the capacity,” he remarked.
