“Their arrivals must be really anticipated, prepared, and handled at the entrance gates that we have set and follow their movement until their regions,” said the president in a limited meeting on the report of the Covid-19 mitigation task force on Monday, May 11.

Out of the total 34,000 migrant workers, more than 8,900 people hailed from East Java, 7,400 people from Central Java, 5,800 people from West Java, 4,200 people from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), 2,800 people from North Sumatra, 1,800 people from Lampung, and 500 people from Bali.
