East Java Governor Turns Residence into COVID-19 Command Post

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa has turned her official residence into a command center for the COVID-19 command post in the province.
"Since two weeks ago it has functioned as a command center where the team update all developments in (COVID-19) cases ," she said here on Sunday.
The command center also functions as a command post to monitor the handling of COVID-19 cases in East Java.
"It aims to enable the team to mitigate the non-natural disaster related to the COVID-19 outbreak in a more integrated way," she said.
Through the command post the developments in COVID-19 cases including people under monitoring (ODP), patients under surveillance (PDP) and confirmed coronavirus cases in the province can be controlled and monitored on real time basis round the clock, she said.
The command post of the COVID-19 Response Task Force in East Java is currently equipped with two ambulances and six drivers who are ready to work anytime.
