TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two of Transjakarta’s bus rapid transit (BRT) routes currently remains inoperable due to the floods caused by extreme rainfall the night before.

“Corridor 2 that serves routes from Pulogadung to Harmoni, towards Harmoni, and Bermis bus stop is unable to provide services since the MBCs are not completely ready yet. However, the opposite direction is operating normally,” said Transjakarta spokesperson Nadia Disposanjoyo in a written statement on Monday.

The second Transjakarta bus route that not completely recovered from the effects of the floods is Corridor 10 that serves the Tanjung Priok - PGC2 route with a bus stop that is still physically affected by the floods.

“However, the transportation services on both directions are running normally,” said Nadia.

She asserts that other than the aforementioned routes, Transjakarta’s bus rapid transits and regular ones have resumed normal operations. This includes Corridor 12 connecting Tanjung Priok - Pluit which was previously closed on Sunday, February 23, due to floods.
