TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is set to grill the president director of PT Mabua Harley Davidson motor company, Djonnie Rahmat, over the procurement of aircraft machine of national airline Garuda Indonesia.

Djonnie will be questioned as a witness for the suspect Hadinoto Soedigno, the airline’s technical and aircraft management director of the 2007-2012 period.

“He [Djonnie] will be examined for suspect HS,” said the anti-graft body’s spokesman Ali Fikri on Tuesday, February 4.

Hadinoto is the third suspect in the bribery case of Garuda after the suspect-naming of Garuda former CEO Emirsyah Satar and PT Mugi Rekso Abadi CEO Soetikno Soearjo on charges of bribery and money laundering.

KPK named Hadinoto suspect in August 2019 for allegedly receiving bribes for the procurement of Airbus SAS aircraft machines and Rolls-Royce PLC through Soetikno.

They were suspected of earning €1.2 million and US$180,000 or equal to Rp20 billion and goods worth US$2 million from Rolls Royce for the purchase of 50 aircraft machine of Airbus SAS throughout the period of 2005-2014.
