Seven Gas Stations Halt Operations Following Jakarta Flooding

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Seven gas stations (SPBUs) in Jakarta temporarily ceased operations on Wednesday owing to floods in the capital.
The gas stations did not operate after floodwaters submerged roads to the gas stations, manager of communication relation & corporate social responsibility (CSR) unit of the marketing operation region (MOR) III of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero Dewi Sri Utami) noted in a written statement released on Wednesday.
With the floodwaters reaching depth of 30-50 centimeters, the gas stations could not operate for security and safety reasons, she remarked.
The seven gas stations included SPBU 3411704 on Daan Mogoot Street; SPBU 3411705 on Duri Kosambi Street; SPBU 3411502 on Panjang Street in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta; SPBU 3110702 on H. Samanhudi Street, Sawah Besar; and SPBU 3410507 on Cempaka Putih Street in Central Jakarta.
The two other gas stations are SPBU 3413202 in Pulogadung and SPBU 3413205 on Perintis Kemerdekaan Street in East Jakarta.
