Anies Baswedan Grants Award to Colosseum Night Club

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan granted a tourism award dubbed 'Adikarya Wisata 2019' to Colosseum Club 1001 night club in West Jakarta. The city secretary Saefullah said the award showed that there is no illegal drug circulation at Colosseum.

"No more illegal activities there, such as drug/ narcotics trade and other illegal goods, as regulated in the regional regulation," Saefullah explained at the city hall on Saturday, December 14, saying that the authorities conduct observation at the discotheque every day.

Beside, Colosseum received the city administration permit to run a night entertainment business, otherwise, it will not meet the requirement for the award.

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency held the Adikarya Wisata 2019 awards in 31 categories and Colosseum won the Entertainment & Recreation - Night Club & Discotheque nomination.

The event was held at JW Marriott Hotel, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on December 6. The award event is held once in two years since 1991.
