18 Young Indonesians Invited to Obama Foundation Leaders Forum

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Eighteen young people from Indonesia were selected to join the Obama Foundation Leaders: Asia-Pacific forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event is scheduled to take place from December 10 to 14.

The discussion forum aims to answer global challenges whilst showcasing a number of workshops and leadership development training.

One of the young people chosen from Indonesia is Jerry Winata, head of Anambas Foundation, who expressed his enthusiasm to join and establish relationships with 200 people from other countries.

The five-day meeting will cover numerous activities and opportunities for Obama Leaders to establish networks with 200 young leaders from 33 nations. The representatives of Obama Leaders will also have the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge into a variety of real scenarios.

A number of well-known figures who will provide guidance sessions include Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, as well as AirAsia founder Tony Fernades.
