Jokowi Reported to Ombudsman Over Munir's Murder Report Loss

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Wife of the murdered human rights activist Munir, Suciwati, said she is set to report President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to the Indonesian Ombudsman related to the loss of the fact-finding team report on Munir’s murder case.
“Yes, on November 7th we will meet the Ombudsman,” said Suciwati after giving a public talk on the murder case of her husband and how the report was lost within Palace doors in Surabaya on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Despite information regarding the loss of the documents in the State Secretary office, Suciwati insisted to report the president for the fact that the State Secretary, who is said to be responsible for the loss, is the employee of President Jokowi.
This is deemed significant as the investigation of Munir’s murder case was halted due to the lack of information from the document that has gone missing.
Furthermore, Suciwati expressed bewilderment after the government used the reason to stop carrying out the investigation as many members of the fact-finding team were still alive.
