TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The General Elections Commission’s vote count information system (Situng KPU) as of May 15, 05:45 shows candidates Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin obtaining more votes compared to their opposition Prabowo – Sandaiga Uno.

It shows the incumbent candidate leading with 70,945,538 votes while Prabowo – Sandiaga collected 55,198,953, with the two candidates being separated by over 15 million votes or 12.48 percent.

This temporary Situng data is based on 82.35 percent of the total vote ballots KPU is gathering from 813,350 polling stations nationwide.

Areas where Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin shows dominance comes from polling stations in Central Java and poll stations abroad.

This Situng feature introduced by the KPU is basically the vote recapitulations gathered by each polling station working committees (KPPS) that are printed over a C1 form, which then gets scanned before it is published online. KPU’s national final vote recapitulation is planned to be complete on May 22, 2019.
