TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko revealed that rumor about President Jokowi’s cabinet reshuffle will depend on its significance and that the government’s performance has not been affected by the string of corruption cases.

“The cabinet reshuffle, yes, the president said there is a possibility, but there is a possibility it won’t take place too. We’ll see the significance of it,” said Moeldoko in Jakarta today, May 3.

Rumors of a reshuffle echoed strongly after the number of state ministers under Jokowi’s “working cabinet” are allegedly involved in corruption cases.

According to Moeldoko, the ministers that were dragged into corruption cases so far had been working optimally. However, he asserted that Jokowi will not intervene in these cases.

Several ministers that are currently incriminated in cases of corruption, despite under the status of witnesses, include Imam Nahrawi, Minister Lukman, Minister Airlangga Hartarto.
