TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential candidate number 01 Joko Widodo or Jokowi delivered briefings for legislative candidates of the Indonesia Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) from the Jakarta electoral district today, March 20.

During the remaining 24 days of the campaign period, Jokowi underlined that it is the time to focus on campaign acts.

“The time is left for work. Conduct campaigns to the public. There is no more time to hold meetings,” said Jokowi Wednesday, March 20, at the PDIP regional executive board (DPP) of Jakarta office in Tebet, South Jakarta.

The incumbent candidate urged all legislative candidates to be aware of various information spreading among the public because information in the capital city changes a lot.

“I think managing information, observing occurrences in Jakarta is important because Jakarta usually affects other provinces,” Jokowi added.

On the occasion, Jokowi attempted to boost the spirit of all audiences to face the 2019 elections.

Jokowi further suggested PDIP legislative candidates persuade and remind the public to use their rights to cast a ballot on April 17, 2019. “Call all communities to visit Voting Stations (TPS). Don’t let anyone becomes abstainer (golput),” he said.
