TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) received Rp1.7 billion related to the bribery case of Drinking Water System (SPAM) projects at Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) for 2017-2018. The fund was returned by three Commitment Making Official (PPK) of the ministry.

“We receive more bribery money returned by three PPK of the SPAM project at Ministry of PUPR amounted to Rp1.7 billion,” said KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah at KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday, February 11.

Previously, 13 PPK had returned Rp3 billion. “So the current total money returned by 16 officials is Rp4.7 billion,” Febri added.

However, Febri stopped short to mention the identity of 16 ministry officials before the case enters the court. “No information who return the money. Full reports will be conveyed in the trial,” he said.

In this case, KPK has named eight suspects in the SPAM project of the PUPR Ministry for 2017-2018. They are President Director of PT Wijaya Kusuma Emindo (WKE) Budi Suharto, Director of PT WKE Lily Sundarsih, Director of PT Tashida Sejahtera Perkara (TSP) Irene Irma, and Director of PT TSP Yuliana Enganita Dibyo for giving the bribes.

Suspects in receiving the bribes, among others, were PPK of Lampung SPAM Anggiat Portunggal Nahot Simaremare, PPK of Katulampa Meina Woro Kusinah, Head of Working Unit of Emergency SPAM TGeuku Moch Nasar, PPK of Toba 1 SPAM Donny Sofyan Arifin.
