TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - News of Jokowi and Prabowo Subianto’s campaign team members exchanging claims of foreign political involvement occupied recent headlines.
With Prabowo’s campaign team (BPN) spokesman Andre Rosiade publically asked the incumbent candidate for clarification on Wednesday of a possible professional partnership between Jokowi and United States’ political consultant Stanley Greenberg in the incumbent’s campaign.
In response, Jokowi`s campaign team denied having any ties with Stan Greenberg.
Tempo was able to reach Greenberg through his personal email address that is listed in greenbergresearch.com, which is also linked to his official Twitter account @StanGreenberg.
We asked Greenberg a number of questions related to the rumor of his past and present professional involvement with President Jokowi’s 2014 and 2019 presidential campaign, which he simply replied:
