TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Joko Widodo or Jokowi - Ma'ruf Amien campaign team expects the volunteers to keep on working hard in winning to their side until the election day on April 17, amid the huge support from the public.
Jokowi's camp team deputy chairman Moledoko recalls a phenomenon in the U.S. presidential election when Hillary Clinton also gained huge support from the public. "Everyone thinks Hillary must win the election," he said during the team’s declaration in supporting the incumbent at the event dubbed Jokowi Sebelas Maret (JoSmart) in Solo, Saturday, Jan, 26.

He views that the support has 'spoiled' the volunteers. "And many people did not come to cast their voices since they were optimistic Hillary would win," Moeldoko said, adding that the situation made Hillary Clinton lose from Donald Trump.
Moeldoko hopes that besides casting their votes for Jokowi-Ma'ruf in the upcoming presidential election, the volunteers will also able to invite more people choosing the same option at the voting place.
Especially since more public holidays will take place several days before and after the election day. Moeldoko says that it is potential to decrease the number of voters.
He calls on the supporters of Jokowi to not miss the moment and choose to go on vacation. "Don’t forget, your voice does matter to the future," he remarks.
