Jokowi Inspects Online Single Submission Service in BKPM

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo, or Jokowi, on Monday, January 14 inspected the integrated business licensing service or Online Single Submission (OSS) in the office of the Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Jakarta.

Jokowi, who was wearing a batik shirt, arrived in the BKPM building, South Jakarta at around 08:45 a.m local times. The BKPM head Thomas Lembong and other officials welcomed the President who was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution and Minister of State Secretary Pratikno.

Starting January 2, 2019, the government converted the integrated business licensing or Online Single Submission (OSS) from the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs to the BKPM.

The secretary of Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Susiwijono, said the migration of the OSS system would be carried out swiftly. First, the operation of licensing service and OSS system was commenced on January 2, 2019.

“The operational services include licensing service and its supporting facilities or OSS Lounge, call center 1500765, and technical service through email, as well as human resources employment and its budget,” said Susiwijono.

The second stage would be the infrastructure provision of OSS system, including its network, hardware, software license, and supporting devices, by the BKPM starting March 1, 2019.
