Jokowi Orders Tito to Capture Men who Terrorize KPK Leaders

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo has instructed Chief of Police Gen. Tito Karnavian to push investigations of terror acts at the home of two Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) leaders.
"Yesterday noon, I gave the Chief of Police a direct order to act upon and completed [the investigation] thoroughly," the president said in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta on Thursday, January 10.
Jokowi said the state will not tolerate acts of terror and intimidations against law enforcers. "Pursue them and capture them," he said.

The president also said that KPK's war on corruption would not weaken.
Suspected bombs were found at the home of KPK chief Agus Rahardjo in Bekasi and the home of his deputy Laode M. Syarif in South Jakarta.
Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo said the force had established a team with the Densus 88 Anti-terror squad to investigate the incident.
Yesterday morning at the home of KPK's Laode, the remains of what appears to be Molotov bombs were found. At Agus' house, security guards found an object that was suspected to be a bomb.
