Body of Jokowi`s Uncle to be Returned to Indonesia Tonight

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The body of President Jokowi`s uncle, Mulyono Hermawan, will be flown from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Indonesia, tonight at 8:50 pm local time. The body will be buried in a funeral home in Sukoharjo, Central Java.
“The local residents have made preparations at the funeral home,” said Gayam village head Havid Danang, Thursday, January 3. According to Danang, Mulyono’s family is currently in Saudi Arabia.
Mulyono died in Jeddah after performing umrah with his family. He suffered from shortness of breath and finally died before returning to Indonesia.
According to Havid, Mulyono’s body will be buried on Friday afternoon, January 4, in the Jogoboyo public cemetery, Sukoharjo.
“Near from home,” he said. The funeral location was chosen at the request of the family.
Jokowi’s uncle died at the age of 66 years. He died leaving a wife, two daughters and a number of grandchildren.
He is President Jokowi`s uncle from the father’s lineage. He is the younger brother of Jokowi’s father, Noto Mihardjo.
