TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian national esports team won the overall championship of the 2026 SEA Esports Nations Cup (ENC) after winning three gold medals, one silver, and one bronze medal at the event, which concluded in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Saturday night, May 9, 2026.

The Indonesian national esports team won gold medals in PUBG Mobile Solo, Teamfight Tactics, and Crossfire: Legends. The Red and White team also took home a silver medal in PUBG Mobile Solo and a bronze medal in PUBG Mobile Duo.

"With three gold medals, Indonesia is the absolute overall champion of SNC 2026," said Indonesian national esports team head coach Richard Permana to ANTARA via instant message on Sunday.

The Indonesian national esports team's first medal came in PUBG Mobile Solo, with Alan Raynold Kumaseh and Fazriel Haikal Aditya winning gold and silver, respectively.

In addition to their success in Solo, Alan and Fazriel also won a bronze medal as a pair in PUBG Mobile Duo.

Indonesia's Teamfight Tactics representative, Stefanus Aditya Witjaksono, successfully secured a gold medal for the Red and White in the first regional tournament organized by the Southeast Asia Esports Federation (SEAEF).

The man, familiarly known as Adit, started the match with a seventh-place finish in the first game, collecting two points. However, he rallied to secure the victory.

"In Game 2, we were patient in the early game, waiting for a power spike. It was a very close game, but we finally won. In Game 3, we had a great opener, maintaining momentum and securing first place," said Adit.

"Our preparation involved daily ranked practice. We joined study groups with international TFT players; some achieved top placement at TFT Worlds. We diligently studied statistics and VOD reviews."

The Indonesian national team in Crossfire: Legends also won a gold medal after defeating Vietnam in a dramatic final.

The Crossfire: Legends team is supported by Gede Bagus Panji Narajaya, Ibnu Qayyim Al Jauziah, Kautsar Faruqurrohman Ekatama, Muhammad Ilyas Alfarizi, Riddho Putra Muharam, and Tubagus Mochammad Cipta, coached by Iqbal Mauldhan Yusup.

The medal tally at the 2026 SEA ENC shows that Indonesia even surpassed host Vietnam, which finished second in the medal standings with one gold, three silver, and one bronze.

Thailand finished third with one gold and one silver, followed by Singapore with one gold in fourth, and Malaysia rounded out the Top 5 with three bronze medals.

The Philippines, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Brunei Darussalam, and Laos took sixth through tenth place. Myanmar finished last in the medal standings.
