The event initiated by the 212 Alumni Brotherhood or PA 212 will be held on December 2, at the National Monument (Monas) Square, Central Jakarta.
“The Gambir Police can handle it,” said Head of Police's Public Information Bureau Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo at the Police Headquarters, yesterday, in South Jakarta. However, Dedi kept alerting his troops to guard the action.
The 212 Alumni is a forum formed to accommodate people who have been involved in Defending Islam rally in December 2017. They demanded the former Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok be punished for blasphemy.
The PA 212 chairman, Slamet Ma'rif, had made preparation for the 212 Grand Reunion at Monas, such as arranging permits to the police or the Jakarta provincial administration.
